Amy Coffman Phillips
Biomimicry Professional 2013
Architect, MBA
Sustainability & Design Strategist
Amy is fascinated by ideas that reconnect humans with the natural environment and is skilled at bringing people together toward a common goal.  Trained as an architect and with a MBA concentration in business management, Amy takes her love of nature and the creative process and weaves them into a career that creates exciting, nature-based projects.  She frequently holds lectures and facilitates seminars for clients looking to integrate natural forms and processes into the built environment.  She also puts these ideas to the test through her own small architecture practice.  She is co-developing a Natural Resilience Program for businesses looking to integrate biological resilience strategies into their strategic planning, and is facilitating the development of locally attuned environmental performance standards for the Chicago area based on lessons learned from the prairie.  Amy is the founder of Liquid Triangle Sustainability, a design practice and consultancy, and co-founder of Biomimicry Chicago, the local resource for biomimicry practitioners in the Chicago region.

Amy's resume is available for download.  We look forward to working with you!
